We went to Crudo to celebrate our 49th wedding anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
We started out with drinks and the Carpacio and Caprese salads. Both were excellent in flavors and the presentation, especially of the Caprese, were mouth-watering, indeed!
We decided to do something we'd never done and only eat half of each and take the rest home, so we could really enjoy our entrees. This will be our new tradition.
For entrees, I had the Shrimp stuffed with Crab, which was very good with plenty of crab in each shrimp. I so wish restaurants would get over leaving the tails on shrimp...why, just why!
My husband ordered the Pork and Veal stuffed Tortellini which were obviously made by hand and they all looked like beautiful butterflies. He enjoyed every bite and said the sauce was excellent! All this is coming from a gourmet chef!
For dessert we enjoyed splitting a very good tiramisu, but the highlight was when Ari, the owner, came over and chatted with us for 15-20 minutes. My husband recently retired from the restraunt business and really got a kick out of trading stories with Ari! You made our evening, sir, and we will be back and have already recomm
